It's time to dip our toes into the world of Star Wars Legends. Darth Plagueis is only mentioned once across nine full movies, but his effect can be felt throughout the entire series. The Sith lord who helped make old Sheev the super villain of Star Wars has a pretty great history, and this book tells it well. While it may not have the action of other offerings, it's so well written that you'll be able to see why this is one of our favorite books.
